There is a lot to take in and handle at the same time. Amid a gunfight, it overwhelms a new player. That is why we are here. Setting up Call of Duty Mobile
Call of Duty: Mobile is one of the best high graphics Android games with adventure and action. It is vital to set up the game correctly and efficiently. Let us first install COD: Mobile. You can click on the links to download the game from the Google Play Store and Apple Store.
Free up device storage
After installing the COD Mobile on your device, it might take up to 5 GB of space. So you should have at least 5 GB of free space on your device. Otherwise, you won’t be able to open the game.
Turn off background alerts and notifications
Now, before starting to play, we recommend you mute the notifications or background alerts. If you have a Gaming Mode on your device, now is the time to turn it on. You don’t want to get distracted by texts and calls during the game.
Log Into the game
To save your progress, you need to create an Activision account or log in using your Facebook ID. This step is the most important one. Because if you don’t log in to the game, you will lose progress. You can play the game as a Guest, but it won’t save your progress. It also allows you to play on multiple devices. If you have the ID, you can play the game on any device suitable. You should also consider the ping rate. High ping can cause lag and problems with the game. Often, you will get laggy gameplay because your internet speed has dropped. Ensure a stable internet connection throughout the game.
Connect your Xbox or PlayStation 4 controller
You can connect your PlayStation or Xbox controller if you want. Call of Duty Mobile supports controllers to use. COD: Mobile Settings and Controls: Getting Ready to Play
We are almost there to start playing the game. But before that, we need to look into the settings and controls of the game.
Select Advanced mode
There are two modes of gameplay in call of duty mobile. It is a Simple and Advanced mode. In ‘Simple mode’, the weapon automatically fires or attacks an enemy within a range. In ‘Advanced mode’, you have complete control over your weapons. You can choose to shoot or not and aim at your will. Though this mode takes a lot of practice, it is the best option to enjoy the game. 
Customize the controls
From the lobby, tap on the settings icon at the top right corner. This game will open the control setup of the game. Next, select advanced mode and press CUSTOM LAYOUT. Now you can see the trigger, weapon switch, bombs, knife, etc. you can move the buttons around to suit your gameplay. You must put the trigger button where you can access it easily. After positioning the buttons, press Confirm. 
Test your settings with Practice mode (optional)
Before getting into the actual combat, you can test your control settings in the practice range. This process will help you to grasp the situation and handle the weapons in the game.
CODM Different Modes
COD Mobile is divided into two modes or major sections: Multiplayer and Battle Royale. The controls and visuals are the same, but there are differences in gameplay and style. Call of Duty Mobile Zombie mode has been removed, so it is no longer available.
Multiplayer Modes
In multiplayer mode, you play with and against other players online. Usually, these matches are played in a 2v2 or 5v5 setup.
The multiplayer matches are divided into two types: Normal Multiplayer Match and Ranked Match. Ranked Matches are a little more complicated and give you more XPs. There are different maps and modes to play in multiplayer. The core modes are Frontline, Team Deathmatch, Hardpoint, Domination, Gunfight, Search & Destroy, Kill Confirmed, and Free for All. Although the Normal matches have all these modes, Ranked matches only have four modes available.
There are different featured modes available for a limited time, such as Standoff, Attack of the Undead 20, Gun Game, Prop Hunt, Sniper Only, Duel, etc. These featured games are available for a limited time. My favorite is the 10 vs. 10 all-out shooting mode.
There are also various maps to play in the game; Summit, Crossfire, Standoff, Killhouse, Nuketown Russia, Hijacked, Cage, Shipment, Scrapyard, Oasis, Highrise, Crash, Terminal, Hackney Yard, Firing Range, Raid, Takeoff, Salon. Some maps are available for limited times, but basic maps are also available.
Battle Royale Modes
The Battle Royale mode offers two maps for the players to play- Isolated and Alcatraz. You can choose to play the matches in first-person or third-person perspective. You can also play the game in solo, duo, or team modes. The Alcatraz map only allows team play.
In Battle Royale classic, you jump from a plane and parachute down the map. There is a thing called the zone that shrinks after every 1-2 minutes. You have to be the last man surviving to win the battle royale matches. So, you can use any weapons that are available on the map. You cannot bring any weapons. There are airdrops in the game that hold powerful weapons, accessories, and medkits.
It has some unique modes like warfare or sniper battles with fewer people and a smaller map.
Call of Duty Mobile Tips & Tricks
Now let us get into the good stuff. How to win every match in Call of Duty? Follow these tips & tricks, and you can become a zero hero in COD Mobile in no time.
1. Battle Royale: Drop Smartly From the Plane
Avoid the first contact in a battle royale match at any cost. Players can choose where they jump on the map. It is wise to choose a location where fewer people have dropped. Moreover, it reduces the chance of the first contact and gives you time to collect weapons, ammo, and medkits.
It won’t be fun if you drop on a location and then get killed by the enemy. Drop in an emptier location and get ready to face the enemies when the time comes.
2. Battle Royale: Pay Attention to Ammo
I know it is fun to rush into the gunfights and overwhelm to use skills and powerful guns. But often time players find themselves out of ammo amid battle. If you don’t load up on an ample amount of ammo while you can, you might lose the battle. That’s why you must keep a watch on your ammo count.
Moreover, you should choose between weapons to conserve ammo if there is no possible way of getting more ammo. You should also take advantage of loot when you kill an enemy. You can use their weapons and ammo to your advantage.
3. Battle Royale: Leave Enemy Dog Tags to Hunt More
If you want to obtain the maximum number of kills in COD: Battle Royale, you should leave the enemy dog tags alone. Then you should find a proper spot to hide and get ready with the sniper or a weapon that can shoot from a distance.
You can hunt all the members of a team in this way. When the killed enemy’s team member comes to revive them, you can also put them down now. This process is an efficient way of getting maximum kills.
4. Battle Royale: Revive Teammates
The Call of Duty Mobile: Battle Royale is more fun with teammates. They also watch your back and support you in a fight. So, if one of your teammates is knocked out or killed, you should help them restore their health or revive. But you should also be careful. Often it could be a trap by the enemy to lure you in.
After all, a team of 4 makes the 100- player battle royale. In terms of odds, it is 4 vs. 96, and you can guess the importance of having your teammates by your side. You should also be at a close proximate to your team members. In this way, you can help each other if necessary.
5. Battle Royale: Maximize the Skills
In Battle Royale, there is an option to choose skills or class. They are Ninja, Medic, Defender, Trap Master, Mechanic, Scout, Poltergeist, Trickster, etc. Among them, Ninja, Mechanic, Defender, Poltergeist, and Trickster offer the best advantages on the battlefield. They give you special powers to use in the game.
There is an option to upgrade your skills, and you should do that. There are different upgrade terminals throughout the map. You can upgrade your class there. Moreover, it will boost your powers and time limit of the skills. It also increases the range of skills like medical drones or EMP drones.
6. Battle Royale: Make Use of the Vehicles
There is a wide range of vehicles in the Battle Royale mode of COD Mobile. Such as Cargo Truck, Motorcycle, Snowboard, ATV, Helicopter, Snowmobile, Boat, Antelope A20, and Tank. They are fast and help you to relocate efficiently. Though the vehicles make loud noises, enemies cannot keep up with you in vehicles. It will be a waste if you don’t use them to your advantage.
Vehicles like Tank and Antelope A20 give you a massive boost as they come with heavy cavalry of firepower. The helicopter can keep you away from enemies’ reach, and it is the fastest mode of travel in the game.
7. Battle Royale: Be Strategic
In Call of Duty Mobile Battle Royale, the last man standing wins, not the one with the highest kills. So you don’t need to be in the open and kill enemies. When you are trying to shoot down someone, you also become someone else’s target. You can play the game strategically and wait it out. You can hide within the zone and avoid contact with other players as long as you can.
Theoretically, if you gear up and wait for the last 10 to 5 players, the chances of your victory are higher. I know that waiting for 10 to 15 minutes is not always the best idea, but it can take you closer to victory. Think about it when you play COD mobile next time.
8. Battle Royale: Know Your Map
To secure victory in Battle Royale, you must have an overview of the map and locations. Just like any military operation, you must be aware of your surroundings, and Call of Duty is not exceptional in this regard. You must know about the map of COD’s Mobile Battle Royale mode for a player and fan.
For example, Launch Base, Downtown, or the Dock has tall structures, perfect for lookout. Black Market has underground high-tech resources. The Sanitorium always has a helicopter. These little bits of information can help you win the game.
9. Multiplayer: Use the Scorestreaks as Your Trump Card
Unlike other multiplayer third-person shooter games, COD Mobile has something called the Scorestreaks. This action allows you to use additional weapons or fire powers like UAVs, Predator Missiles, Sentry Guns, Vitol, Stealth Chopper, and XS1 Goliath armor. You can select up to three scorestreaks to use in the multiplayer mode of the game. After reaching specific points in the game, these scorestreaks open for you to use. You can take out a large number of enemies depending on the scorestreak you use.
Another hidden or powerful scorestreak is the Nuclear Bomb, a.k.a the Nuke. It is the hidden fourth scorestreak, and not many players can use it. The nuke will automatically unlock after a player reaches a kill streak of 20 in COD Mobile.
10. Multiplayer: Don’t Stand Still
It is not rocket science to know that you become an easy target for the enemies if you standstill. You need to move around when you are not shooting at your opponents. When using scorestreaks or planting a bomb, it is wise to stand behind a cover and then use it. You become vulnerable to attack when you are reloading or using scorestreaks.
Another threat may come from the sky. Enemy UAVs and Stealth Chopper can come at you easily when you are still. So move around the map so that it cannot make you a target easily.
11. Multiplayer: Choose Your Loadouts
You can manage up to 10 loadouts in Call of Duty Mobile Multiplayer mode. Loadouts are the character setup that you can choose to play the game with. You can select your primary weapon, secondary weapons, skills, throwables, and other necessary equipment for the game. It is wise to organize the load-outs and select one that fits perfectly in the game. For example, in Team Deathmatch, it is great to have an Assault rifle or SMG. On the other hand, if you are staying guard in Domination, having a Sniper is much more efficient.
You should try out different weapons and organize your loadouts accordingly. You can switch between loadouts whenever you want, preferably after you die in the game.
12. Multiplayer: Upgrade Your Weapon
You can upgrade your weapons in Loadouts > Gunsmith. You should try to upgrade your weapons whenever you can. This process increases the damage and range of the weapons. It also increases the accuracy, mobility, and control of the weapon. You never know a short-range or damage power can help you put down an enemy in battle.
13. Multiplayer: Avoid Being Aggressive
I know it is very tempting to go all out in Team Deathmatch, but it is not always wise to meet the enemy halfway. It can give them easy points if they can kill you. It is wise to progress cautiously and keep an eye out for the enemy snipers and players.
Unnecessary aggro can cause your team to lose the match. Remember, your opponent can win even with a single-point lead. So, be cautious and aware of your surroundings in Team Deathmatch.
14. Multiplayer: Use Pistol as Your Secondary Weapon
There will be many times when you will find an enemy in front of you in Multiplayer mode, and your primary weapon is out of ammo. What will you do then? You should quickly switch to your secondary weapon instead of reloading. Always remember switching weapons is much faster than reloading.
For this reason, you should select the MW11, .50 GS, or M1911 pistol as your secondary weapons. These pistols pack a lot of damage close.
15. Keep your Graphic settings Optimum
If your device supports it, you should utilize the best graphics settings for gameplay. You should check that your device provides high FPS and optimum graphics. You should keep your graphics to HD or Medium if it cannot render high FPS smoothly. COD is a shooting game, so if your visibility is not clear, you cannot shoot. Only choose the Ultra HD graphics if you know your phone can handle it without dropping the frame rates.
